Hello guys,So my Acer Predator G5910 started having an error of 1 long beep with 2 short beeps at start up.The PC wouldn't start up anymore.I send it to service, and the guy tells me that my graphic card has failed.I ask him with what to replace it with. He says to me with GTX 1060.Keep in mind Predator G5910 is pre built and also used to run GTX 580.Anyways I thought since the guy works with PCs he must know.Later he calls me and tells me that GTX 1060 is not working, and the only card that can work is something simple like Nvidia 210.I tell him what about if I order a used GTX 580 that works, will that do.
Acer will have the Acer Predators in stores in November, with the 15-inch model starting at 1599 eur over here, while the 17-inch version will start at 1799 eur. They’ll go even cheaper in the US, with the Predator 15 starting at $1499 and the Predator 17 at $1599. Spesifikasi dan Harga Acer Predator Gaming Terbaik. He says that it will not run either. There is also a problem with the motherboard and says I can't run gaming graphic cards. My question is. If Nvidia 210 is running, how can a damaged motherboard run it?He says 210 will do for movies and stuff but no gaming. I ask him won't it crash since the motherboard is damaged, he says he tried 210 and it worked. Is this guy completely ignorant, trying to fool me or what's going on?How can a damaged motherboard run a 210 but not a working 580.Please someone enlighten me. Ok i have this exact computer and same problem, i found an easy fix. If i lay the case down on it's side, motherboard side down so you can open the case, it starts, sometimes i have to push the card down a little (don't push on the card when the computer is plugged in).The other fix i found was to make sure the gfx card was centered in the pci slot and not hanging kind of at an angle if that makes any sense. THAT MADE A HUGE DIFFERENCE I DON'T EVEN NEED TO LAY IT DOWN ANYMORE IT STARTS EVERY TIME!I upgraded to a gtx 660 is when my problem started and i dealt with it for months just making sure to never turn the computer off because it was such a pain in the ass to get it to turn on again because it would just beeeeeeeeeeeeeep beep beep all the time.So to make it clear.
When the card is in the computer it will wobble vertically up and down. If you center it so it is parallel to the PCI-E slot and screw or latch it down in the position it should fix the problem, it did for me at least.Yeah i even had the same exact thing happen where the pc would boot just fine when i put my way smaller HD 7750 in the pc.Probably to late but best of luck.
